So far, the development of various industrial estates in Indonesia is considered capable of having a positive impact on national economic growth and is very effective in attracting investors to invest in Indonesia.
In this regard, one of the agendas in the National Strategic Project in Presidential Regulation No. 58 of 2017 is the development of industrial estates. In this case, JIIPE East Java Industrial Estate is one of several industrial zones included in the project.
East Java Industrial Estate JIIPE is an industrial area which since its construction was prepared to accommodate several heavy industry clusters, CPO-based industries, the automotive industry, as well as small and medium industries or IKM.
East Java Province was chosen as the location of JIIPE East Java Industrial Estate development because the industry in the province is able to contribute 40% to the regional economy and is the highest after Banten and West Java.
As an industrial area that is included in the National Strategic Project, JIIPE East Java Industrial Estate is targeted to be able to absorb as many as 500,000 workers who are dominated by surrounding communities.
